They should name a street or building after Detroit detective Orin Boyd (Steven Seagal). Instead, days after single-handedly throttling an army of political assassins, he's busted to white-gloved traffic cop. Someone wants Boyd out of the way, someone who should follow this advice: call for backup.
Steven Seagal and DMX kick it up a notch in this searing action thriller from producer Joel Silver (The Matrix) that has them joining forces in a battle against police corruption. Andrzej Bartkowiak (Romeo Must Die) directs, fusing starpower (including Isaiah Washington, Jill Hennessy and Tom Arnold), firepower and road-burning horsepower into scenes that push the action tachometer into the red zone.

good movie - 4 out of 5 (8/27/2001)
In Hollywood, they call Producer Joel Silver the magic man. EXIT WOUNDS is
the best evidence of how he earned that nickname. In the film, he took an
over the hill action star and teamed him with an up and coming rap star
turned action star and the result is a movie that while not perfect, still
manages to warrant an hour and a halves attention.
Steven Seagal plays Detective Orin Boyd, the black eye of the Detroit
Police Department. The movie opens with the vice president coming to

Best Seagal Film, and One of the best cop action movies I've seen - 4.75 out of 5 (10/24/2001)
Seagal on good form, DMX a refreshing new screen presence, Antony Anderson very funny, great plot, decent enough with the action to please everyone, keeps people guessing, fighting and action sequences as good as it gets, it's a movie that will stand the test of time, a high standard action cop movie, will be difficult to top, but Seagal has a action movie gem on his CV here.

DMX is the Man!!! - 4.5 out of 5 (10/19/2001)
DMX is the greatest acting rapper out there. He was great in Belly, and even better in this movie. Seagal was cool, and even added a little comedy. They both kicked A$$, and that hella funny actor from Me, Myself & Irene is in it too!!! Not Jim Carrey, The (slightly overweight) son of Jim. Go buy it. I know I did!!!

Steven Seagal's best to date - 3.5 out of 5 (9/11/2001)
After years of making crappy movies, Steven Seagla returns to form in this exciting action packed thriller. While he is starting to show his age he proves he can still kick ass. Seagal plays a detriot cop who never plays by the rules and is always getting in trouble and never plays by the rules. He stumbles onto a police scandal, without giving to much away, I will say that there are some nifty twists and turns. There is also loads of action, hand to hand fights, shootouts, chases galore, more a
