Some people will killifor their 15 minutes… Now, two of New York's finest must stop theimadness.
Today, there are just three requirements for murder: the motive, the means...and the media. Robert DeNiro and Edward Burns pack serious heat in this supercharged action-thriller.
When two Eastern European criminals decide that the fastest route to fame and fortune in the U.S. is infamy, they embark on a vicious, headline-grabbing killing rampage. Hot on their trail are a veteran homicide detective (Robert DeNiro) and a young arson investigator (Edward Burns). Against a frenzied backdrop of tabloid TV and justice gone mad, they are drawn into the killers' explosive game of cat and mouse as the mean streets of New York erupt into a battlefield.
Co-starring Kelsey Grammer (TV's Frasier) and Melina Kanakaredes (TV's Providence), 15 Minutes is "a sheer adrenaline rush" (Movieline) that will leave you breathless!

15 minutes and then some - 4.25 out of 5 (7/30/2001)
I think that I actually had chills during the screening of 15 MINUTES. They
were chills of real fear because this movie was all about my worst horrors
brought to life. You see, I am a fan of horror movies because I can say to
myself afterwards that it was only a movie, but this film turns that premise
upside down and I had to say to myself that this was in fact, a movie and it
was something I couldn't get away from.
Of course, I could be taking the whole thing to seriously, but the

So-So Film, Incredible DVD - 4.5 out of 5 (3/27/2002)
I was actually really disappointed in this movie. I found it quite predictable. Edward Burns and Robert Deniro both are solid but the material was just average. The DVD however is incredible. One of the best DVD packages I've ever seen.

Both an Entertaining Thriller...and a thought-provoking masterpiece - 5 out of 5 (9/5/2001)
15 Minutes is more or less a wake up call, and is also a bold, brilliant, provocative, and deeply disturbing. Not since Oliver Stone's film, Natural Born Killers, has a single movie explored the dark realms of violence and how the media exploits it to the point where crazed psychopaths have inevitably become celebrities as a result of it. Unlike Stone's movie, however, 15 Minutes doesn't necessarily relate itself to high profile murders that have occurred in real life, and it stills comes off as

15 Minutes is a great DeNiro Film - 4.25 out of 5 (8/19/2001)
15 Minutes displays some great action packed scenes with some decent acting. Ed Burns & Rob DeNiro are good as partering coppers, eventhough Ed Burns' character works for the FD. Anyways, 15 Minutes is a great dvd, go get it!
