"The Ending You'll Never Forget!" -Peter Travers, Rolling Stone
The silence has been broken... "Thrilling (Time), "absorbing" (The Wall Street Journal), and "entertaining" (Newsday), this follow-up to The Silence Of The Lambs is an "audacious success" (Us Weekly)! Anthony Hopkins is "perverse perfection" (Rolling Stone) in his return to the role of Dr. Hannibal Lecter, the sophisticated killer who comes out of hiding to draw FBI agent Clarice Starling (Julianne Moore) into a high-stakes battle that will test her strength, cunning... and loyalty. Drenched in terror, suspense and shocking visual effects, Hannibal is "as compelling a film as you will ever see" (Joel Sigel, "Good Morning America")!

Yay Hannibal - 4.75 out of 5 (8/14/2001)
HANNIBAL drew mixed reviews at the box office last year. Opening reviews and
opinions were strongly in favor of the film, but as the weeks passed, the
seemingly bad word of mouth seemed to hurt the film.
Apparently, it didn't hurt the film as the final tally ended up somewhere
quite healthy, and it gave the green light to the prequel RED DRAGON (which
was already filmed as the basis of Michaela Mann's MANHUNTER.) So here, we
have a sequel, which is actually third in a series, and i

Horrible Sequel - 3.25 out of 5 (3/10/2004)
Hannibal is an absolute mess of a film. There is no plot, which is more Thomas Harris' fault than Ridley Scott's or David Mamet's. I was disappointed when I heard Jodie Foster wasn't returning, but now I understand why-this film is trash. In place of psychological horror, we have a blood soaked orgy. Scott needs to realize that gore is NOT scary. I think Scott is one of the most talented directors out there, but he really failed with Hannibal. Anthony Hopkins is the one redeeming factor, b

this, the sequel to "silence of the lambs", is a fantastic film. anthony hopkins is as good as he was in the first movie and...in my opinion...is even better. he should have won an oscar for this movie as well. to put it to you this way...i wish i could be a serial killer- cannibal- doctor and get away with it like him. great movie !!!

This movie rocked!!! - 4.25 out of 5 (10/17/2002)
This has become one of my favorite movies to watch. Some people think this movie was not as good as it could of been, without jodie foster, but i thought it was better without her. Hannibal is the only movie i liked the ending better then the one in the book. The ending in the book seem like it was wriiten by a 12 for a school project, but the rest of the book was up to par though.
