Synopsis Danny Madigan knows all the first 3 Jack Slater movies in and out. The 4th one is just about to be released too, and with a magical ticket Danny really gets to know that movie in and out too, literally speaking. During one of the action climaxes Danny is transported into the movie, into a world following other rules than the real one. Benedict, one of the evil guys, gets hold of the ticket and escapes out to the real world, a world where evil guys can actually win. Danny and Jack follow him back to the real world to get back the ticket and stop Benedict from killing the actor playing Jack. Customer Review A thrill ride for those Arnold lovers with imagination... - 5 out of 5  (6/26/2002) Its about a Detective Jack Slater(Arnold) and a kid Danny Managin, Both of them have unsatisfing lives and are miserable. Jack is Danny's hero and it turns out that Danny really gets to be Jack's hero in the end. If u were ever lonely as a child and wished your fictional hero's chould be your friends, even for a little bit.. It's mainly because it resembles the NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS so much. I think Arnold Shwartzenegger would play a great Oogie-Boogie. The Nightmare Before Christmas is about a skeleton named Jack that one day decides that he wants Santa Claus's job. The rest is history. So be sure to watch Last Action Hero.   more >>
