I could start out my review of THE HOWLING by saying such things as "It's a
howling good time" or "This movie has real bite." How about this "one goes
for the throat!"
I could do that, but I do have some self-respect and you people don't want
to read that type of stuff. (Besides I did it three times last week!)
But, the truth of the matter is that the HOWLING is one of the best
examples of horror movie done well. It's clever, it's scary and it has some

THE HOWLING is a horror film about a TV news reporter named Karen White who has a fatal encounter with a serial killer called Eddie The Mangler in the back room of an adult shop. After her encounter, she and her husband go to "The Colony" which is a retreat hidden deep in the mountains. Karen soon discovers that the other people who live at "The Colony" are hiding a deadly secret...and THE HOWLING has just begun! why finally decide to put a movie from vhs to dvd format and then make it in mono format? i mean who is working at mgm.. does nobody there have surround sound yet or even heard of it yet?
