Empire Review A sad Twilight - 3 out of 5  (12/3/2001) The title of TWILIGHT brings a tear to my eye because it seems to be more than just the title of a movie to be sold to the audience. It also seems to be a statement of the characters in the film and the entire detective genre as a whole. Paul Newman did some of his best work in the early 1970's when he played roles such as those in HARPER and THE DROWNING POOL. Those characters were take no crap types of detectives who got shot, maimed and tortured and still managed to solve the case.   more >> Customer Review REECE WITHERSPOON NUDE!!!!! CAN'T GO WRONG!!!! - 5 out of 5  (2/20/2002) This movie contains the only nude scene that REECE WITHERSPOON has ever done and from what I hear the only one she will ever do...it's worth the money just for that!!!!!!   more >> Customer Review Not enough action,slow paces,but not horrible - 3 out of 5  (10/9/1998) This movie is loaded with great actors but the story is somewhat dull and never really gets up to speed.The video seems to be a little jerky in spots also but is not horrible.I found the bright spot of the movie to be Reese Witherspoons nude scene which almost makes the purchase worth it.Not bad but not great if you like drama then you may just enjoy this movie but I would suggest La Confidential over this.   more >>
