A TERRIFIC WOO FILM - 3.75 out of 5 (3/7/2002)
I personally don't know what this Mark guy is talking about, this movie is freakin awesome!!!!!
And John Woo is not a retard, he is a mastermind, get it right.
Anyway, buy this movie now and yuo wont be disappointed at all, it's that good. Nicolas Cage is, of course, the man, and John Travolta is also good. Poor selection of extras, though. I sincerely hope there's a SPECIAL EDITION on the way. If you're like me than you'll probably want to wait to buy this one until you're sure it's not gonna

John Woo is a retard. - 2.5 out of 5 (4/7/2001)
Do people watch John Woo for camp value? Or are they just retarded. Do they think this is an action movie? I thought it was so over the top and poorly acted the only way it could be appreciated was as a farce. I guess you have to admire a director who doesn't feel bound to follow classic conventions like plot believability, good acting, and cuts longer than 3 seconds. Or you could say he's a no talent hack who studied filmmaking by watching too much MTV.

I hope a special edition is on the way - 3.75 out of 5 (12/28/2000)
I just purchased "Face/Off" on DVD, and I am happy, however I am dissapointed at the disc though. The video and and audio quality are good, especially the audio (it will blast you out of your seat) but the only extra is the theatrical trailer. For a film this good there should be a boatload of extras, hopefully there will be.
