Empire Review A sphincter says what? - 4.25 out of 5  (7/2/2001) When you look at WAYNE'S WORLD, you see a film that works on all levels. It' s a clever comedy that benefits from good performances and some strong immature characters and it also takes a few stabs at the industry that feeds it. The end result is a film that appealed to the audience and the critics alike. So, how did I like the film? Well, we all know that as a critic, I pretty much suck, so I guess that means that I really liked the film for other reasons.
