Toby Wong is on a martial arts mission impossible. With a bio-energy module placed on his chest, Toby's awesome martial arts skills are tuned to a super-human level. The only problem is that Toby doesn't want the power.
Now, only an army can stop him, and that's just what's hunting him down. As he makes his escape from an ammo-packing posse of hitmen, Toby needs a hostage, Malik to drive him to freedom in Los Angeles.

The Best Hollywood/Hong Kong Movie - 4.5 out of 5 (7/25/2000)
I don't do this often but if you have read Stig Roar Deilers' review, he is totally wrong (sorry Stig)
This film is everything Jackie is not (I still love you though Jackie)
The Directors Cut has all the deleted scenes put back in, including the score by David Williams which was taken out in some scenes.
This film kicks ass, it has guns, kung foo, women, and BIG EXPLOSIONS (the hotel scene is Tre Cool Fool)
If you like Jackie Chan films, this rates right up there with him, as it is b

DACASCOS IS THE NEXT JACKIE CHAN!!!! - 4 out of 5 (7/12/1999)
This movie beats all his previous starring movies, and
everything America tried to made with martial arts.
That guy is lighning-fast and it shows director is
taiwanese and stuntmans from Japan! Recommended!!!

One of the best martial arts-movies ever! - 3.25 out of 5 (7/10/1999)
"Drive" is a movie obviously made by people with expertise and passion. It has the best martial arts-scenes I've ever seen in a movie and I've seen a lot! For example the fight scenes in "The Matrix" seem slow and boring compared to this film and even they were well above average.
The plot is pretty meaningless in a film like this but in "Drive" even that is better than usual. Mark Dacascos is a gifted martial artist and a surprisingly good actor. I like the way he creates a three-dimensional
