Where is the Cantonese Track? - 3 out of 5 (8/1/2001)
Dimension Home Video is a division of Disney and they seem to be hell-bent
on a mission to turn every Hong Kong action film into a hit over here in the
states. The irony is that a lot of long time Hong Kong fans have already
seen the movies, and in fact own a few of them on import discs.
Such is the case with CITY ON FIRE, where I have had the Tai-Seng disc for
some time. I have seen the film, which is one of Chow Yun Fat's best

Another Disney butchered classic - 2.5 out of 5 (4/25/2002)
Empire reviewer D.W. Pritchett is 100% right on in his review of this DVD.
This is a classic crime drama from Hong Kong which has been destroyed by completely unnecessary dubbing.
Ugh, please do yourself a favor and buy the Tai Seng version instead, which has the original language tracks and English subtitles.
