One of my all-time favourites! - 4 out of 5 (2/28/1999)
For anybody who can appreciate a great look at westerns of the past, this movie is for you! An excellent tongue-in-cheek look at a genre once thought forgotten. This is a classic western with a modern flair! Sharon Stone really hammers home a solid performance with the help of the intrepid Gene Hackman. One actor seldom noticed in recent films is Lance Henriksen who, in my opinion, deserves mention for his role as Ace Hanlon -- a solid performance indeed!

Storyline top notch! - 3.25 out of 5 (1/11/1999)
This is one movie that has a great stoyline, great characters, and sets. it still puzzles me that the movie itself never did any better at the box office. it's great to have this movie on dvd but with no special features it's hard to recomend. I spent 33.00 can on this movie and for myself I consider this a "must have" dvd. the picture quality is o.k., the sound althought I don't have dolby digital, I have surround and it was acceptable. this movie only stands out because of the director and it'
