The townspeople of a small English village begin to die in a series of horrible 'accidents,' and a Scotland Yard inspector arrives to investigate. Fulci's missing masterpiece! - 4.25 out of 5 (8/20/2001)
Like MANHATTAN BABY, THE BLACK CAT is another Fulci film ignored by gore hounds. But the film is a real treat just waiting to be rediscovered, and Anchor Bay have come up trumps releasing this at part of their Lucio Fulci collection. Again the film gets an anamorphic transfer, a trailer and Lucio Fulci biography that add that little extra. If you are a collector then I suggest you get collecting!
