Customer Review Best available version - 4.5 out of 5  (11/3/2005) This is the 1997 Image DVD based on the fine 1993 Laser Disc transfer by David Shepherd. Like most versions, it is the 1929 reissue version of the film from a good 35mm print: the original 1925 version, really a very different film, unfortunately survives only in poor, fragmentary copies. Of the available editions of the more familiar 1929 reissue, this is the best.
