An adventure beyond your wildest dreams.
Academy Award®-winner Matt Damon (Saving Private Ryan, Good Will Hunting) stars in director Billy Bob Thornton's action filled tale of love and loss based on Cormac McCarthy's best-selling novel. John Grady Cole (Damon) and his best friend Lacey Rawlins (Henry Thomas) leave Texas and head south of the border in search of adventure and find work as horse wranglers. But when Cole embarks on an illicit and passionate affair with the beautiful daughter (Penélope Cruz, All About My Mother) of the wealthy ranch owner who is his employer, events are set into motion which forever change the lives of all involved. Breathtakingly photographed and acted, All The Pretty Horses has been hailed as "One of the best films of the year. A passionate and poignant epic." -Westwood One Radio

John Grady Cole's grandfather has just died. His mother, who is divorced from his father, leads a completely different life from that of John and his grandfather. John loves the ranch, loves working on the ranch and loves horses. When an oil company offers his mother three times the value of h
