Empire Review Another hit for Sandra - 4 out of 5  (4/23/2001) It's easy to see why Sandra Bullock is America's sweetheart. In MISSCONGENIALITY, she continues her long running tradition of playing abeautiful woman who doesn't know she is. In fact, when we first see Gracie Hart, she is beating up a class bully forpicking on another kid. She saves the kid but then clobbers him when he rebuffs her. Years later, we see that she has grown up to be one of the bestagents in the FBI. Yet, she is still not sure of her beauty, neither isanyone else. Sandra Bullock truly surprised me with an entertaining performance, bordering insane when it comes to cuteness. If the GF drags you to see this film, don't resist, you may end up enjoying as i did.   more >> Customer Review Funny , entertaining, best of Sandra Bullock - 4.5 out of 5  (5/8/2001) This movie intially begins with a typical type about beauty pageant theme, all beauty queens are dumb. However the movie later tells the different perspective about the beauty contestants, that they are not just "beauty no brain" Sandra Bullock sure can act. Michael Caine is charming. The video transfer is beautiful. Although it is not DTS, but the sound quality is perfect. Extras are entertaining too.
