Empire Review Great Movie - 4.25 out of 5  (4/26/2001) Fast approaching is another "Great" season of golf - and if you need a little something to get you into the mood, it's "The Legend of Bagger Vance". This movie is by far the best golf movie to date and is golfs version of "Field of Dreams". It combines an individual struggle with life and how the sport helps to rebuild his life. I have been an avid golfer for many years and have been waiting for a great golf movie.
