A mixed bag for sure - 3.75 out of 5 (5/25/2001)
The story behind TOOTSIE is almost as fascinating as the movie itself. I
give you this story courtesy of the liner notes, which could be construed as
cheating on my part. I however look at it as: "if I tell you the story you
might pick up the disc, if I don't then you won't and you won't get the
story."
So, if my convoluted logic makes any sense to you, then you are in the
right frame of mind for a film where an unemployed actor dresses up as a
