Come to me my angels - 5 out of 5 (3/16/2001)
I sometimes wonder why Hollywood keeps on going back to the boob tube to get
their next idea. I do realize that the old television shows have a built in
audience and that the groundwork is already laid out, but if you really
think about it: they flop much more often than they succeed.
I'm only starting out with this mini rant because it helps me to point out
that "Charlie's Angels" is a textbook case of doing it right. It takes the
old cheesy TV show and updates it for a fresher audienc

Underrated, Enjoyable Redux of the Successful TV Series - 4.25 out of 5 (2/5/2002)
Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, and Lucy Liu are superbly cast as the bell-bottomed super hero trio. Director McG uses a light touch along with Matrix-like special effects and music that successfully captures the innocence and sassiness of the 70s. Bill Murray does his sardonic schtick that we are all boringly familiar with, but since he is a secondary character it does not detract. It changed my life forever....REALLY! - 1 out of 5 (11/29/2001)
A day of infamy it was when this came out! I remember the darkness, the pain and the fear as the plot unfolded. I will never forget where I was the first time I saw it. And the horror, as I realized; this is the worst movie I have ever seen! A Matrix rip-off so disturbing and pathetic, not even the arse of Lucy Liu can save it. Therfore, I give it not 2 thumbs up, but the double middle finger! Did I mention it sucks!
