Too much acting. - 3 out of 5 (4/21/2000)
I preferred the 1956 version with Gregory Peck as
Ahab and concider it a classic.It would have been
better if Huston (the director) played the part of
Ahab.It's a pity it isn't on DVD.

ABSOLUTLY SPECTACULAR!!!!!! - 4.5 out of 5 (8/26/1998)
One of the best films of '98! An extremely well told version of the Melville classic. It's adventure on the high seas with Patrick Stewart giving an outstanding preformance as Capt Ahab.
I highly recommend this movie, and anything else Patrick Stewart is in.
