Empire Review
Ok, so maybe there can be more than one! - 4.75 out of 5  (2/22/2001)
You know, when this film came out, I was skeptical to say the least. I have always loved the first Highlander film, and thanks to syndication I've seen every episode of the TV series at least ten times. Like most Highlander fans, I like to pretend the third Highlander movie was a bad dream, and that the second film never happened at all. (Immortals from space, aghhh!) My hopes for a fourth big screen adaptation were no very high. I was however, very pleased to be proven wrong on the matt   more >>

So bogus - 2.25 out of 5  (4/13/2009)
I have been a long time fan of the 'Highlander' movie. I even liked the tv series, for the most part. Even though movies #2 and 3 were abit of a disappointment, "endgame" should never have been a thought in anyones brain. Atleast movies #2 and 3, if watched 3 then 2, will make some sense and keep a timeline. "Endgame" screws up the time line, the origin of the immortals, and that Conner had already won the "game" three seperate times. If it wasn't for the "highlander" in the title, I would   more >>

There can be only one! - 1.5 out of 5  (10/21/2004)
Yeah right! That's exactly what there should have been: only one movie! As some may recall, the way the original ended, that was it, it was over, Connor MacLeod had defeated the Kurrgan, won the Prize, become mortal and fertile (pretty lame prize, seems to me, but what do I know?) and that was that. There was no conceivable to continue. But no! We then learn that the Immortals are all actually from Planet Zeist, and they come to Earth to re-immortalize the now mortal MacLeod. So, once again h   more >>

What happened to the original? - 3.25 out of 5  (7/12/2001)
Okay! This DVD version sucks compared to the theatrical release. It may have 12 more minutes, but I likes the original plot with Kate dying, and the credits coming up when Duncan is at Connors grave.AND another thing I'm wondering, where are the 2 scenes that were in the trailer in the movie? And how come the trailer isn't on the DVD? HMMM seems like someone f*cked up big time with this DVD!!!   more >>
