Everything from old science fiction films to TV movie critics are mercilessly lampooned in this bizarre off-the-wall comedy presented by John Landis.
The irreverent attack on contemporary life and the mass media revolves around a television channel that keeps viewers interested in a 1950's style sci-fi movie by interspersing a series of wild commercials, wacky shorts and weird specials.

(Hint, Hint)
Now, year later, John had made some more funny films and a few not so funny on

A "bust your gut" comedy! - 3.75 out of 5 (11/27/1998)
I've seen the opening scene with Arsenio Hall dozens of
times, and I still laugh hysterically every time. I
can't explain it, but this movie just hits all of the
right comedic buttons. John Landis has assembled a

Steve Guttenberg and Roseanna Arquette are brilliant in their
skit. And that's what this fi

A comic smorgasbord! - 3 out of 5 (10/8/1998)
Amazon Women on the Moon is one of those movies that has no plot or story, but is just a collection of short skits (a la Kentucky Fried Movie). As with all such endeavors, the skits hit and miss, but in this film, there are many, many more hits than misses.
The story centers around the "title" film, presented as being shown on late night TV with "no commercial interruptions" (yeah, right!), and is a spoof of the horrible, scientifically laughable, and special effect disaster sci fi movies of
