Sex. Violence. Whatever.
This is the story about this hot chick and her loser boyfriend that begins one night at a nightclub where they listen to techno music. So anyway, they leave the club only to have this bleeding dude jump into the back of their car. The chick curses a lot and they visit many fast food restaurants, rob a convenience store and meet up with people. Anyway, in the end, they all become way more than friends and wind up being chased by a bunch of crazy neo-nazi jocks who want to kill them when all they want to do is ride off smoothly into the sunset eating Doritos.

Will make KIDS look like a Disney film! - 4.25 out of 5 (2/13/2003)
Trying to review The Doom Generation is not unlike that of trying to swim the Atlantic Ocean. It can be done, but it's pretty close to impossible. Now don't get me wrong, this is probably one of my all-time favorite movies, it's just not one that is easily critiqued. It's rich in subtext, it's full of satirical wit, it has a bitchin' soundtrack, it's an aesthetically gorgeous film, and yet it is dark, subversive, and disturbing. It is complex to the nth degree and I can only hope to

This is without a doubt one of the most probing and brilliant looks into the depths of the teenage mind! Everyone is fantastic and the soundtrack is one of the best i've heard in years!

Don't waste your time on this one... - 2 out of 5 (1/4/1999)
This movie goes far beyond the boundaries of good taste. If the movie was trying to make a point with its horrible and distateful imagery, it failed miserably. I'm not one for censorship, but I do draw the line at poor acting and poorly scripted motion pictures such as this one.
This movie was probably created for those who enjoy shocking imagery and mindless death and sex. If you are looking for a thoughtful and intriguing plot, search elsewhere...

Not for all tastes. - 4 out of 5 (9/26/1998)
Wow, Trimark got the gall to release the unrated version of this film to DVD! Hmm. This film evokes a lot of thought. It is filled with violence and unspeakable things, but, as the DVD summary on the outside states, all our heroes really want to do is ride off eating doritos. They don't get to do that, though, and let me tell you, they get mighty pissed off. If you like controversial stuff or cult classics, you might (I repeat, MIGHT) like this movie. I do.
