Oliver Stone Collection
Oliver Stone's powerful film about the shots heard round the world and the mystery enshrouding them is one of the most provocative movies of our time. Beside its box-office success, critical acclaim and awards, it played a major role in the national debate leading to passage of the 1992 Assassination Materials Disclosure Act. This remastered two-disc DVD edition features the Academy Award-winning film with 17 added minutes (Disc A) and compelling extra features (Disc B) that enrich the mosaic of the turbulent investigation of President John F. Kennedy's 1963 assassination by Jim Garrison (Kevin Costner).

One of the most important movies of the nineties - 4.75 out of 5 (3/21/2001)
Oliver Stone's JFK is one of those rare movies that succeeds as masterful popular entertainment, as well as social and artistic excellence. If only ten percent of American filmmakers had his guts and vision, then Hollywood would end its reputation as a creator of junk entertainment. This film is a must-see and does what very few motion pictures ever do: it makes you think...about politics, ideals, society and the media.
The only problem I have with this disc is the fact that the supplement

3 SHOTS THAT COST OVER 2 MILLION LIVES - 5 out of 5 (2/6/2001)
Why was Kennedy assassinated, who benefitted, who had the power to cover it up? Oliver Stones remastered masterpiece delivers everything. Nearly ten years since its cinematic release it still has the power to hold you in its grip for 205 mins!
Both the remastered anamorphic picture and new Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack make this film experience more gripping than ever. The second disc helps quench the thirst for more with powerful deleted scenes and assassination updates.
