When Randall Thomasson, a concerned teacher, is gunned down during a carjacking, an unexpected visitor shows up at his funeral: his estranged brother, Carl Thomasson (Treat Williams). An ex-Green Beret turned mercenary, Carl has just signed on as a new substitute teacher in order to investigate Randall's murder. With his military training, he easily dispenses with knife-wielding students and thugs in the men's room. But when he traces the bullet that killed his brother back to someone within school walls, Carl is forced to break out the big guns.

Sloppy Sequel - 2.5 out of 5 (5/25/1999)
Not exactly a sequel, but another movie with the same premise. Despite the presence of Treat Williams in the lead role, this is a very trashy, gory, needlessly violent action flick. The plot in this one is so full of holes that the producers just crammed in the gore, like putty, to plug up the gaps. Ugly, trite, racist, and boring.
