Ckerks,,,we will miss ya! - 4.75 out of 5 (2/19/2001)
"Clerks: The Animated Series" was originally supposed to be a big hit for
ABC television. They had plans to premiere the first episode big time with
spots running during the Super Bowl. There was no expense spared for the
show that was supposed to bring them up out of third place. It had all the
stars, it had the attention and it had the cast, which include some of the
best writers and animators in the business!
So why, was the show canceled after two episodes?
Well, the story is

The best DAMN cartoon series that should had continued! - 4.5 out of 5 (3/14/2001)
Clerks was everything I expected from seeing the other reviews from it. (apart from those who say its a waste of time!) However, the series is a very comic and hilliarous cartoon which appeals to anyone who needs a good laugh. The best episode has to be episode 4 (with its pokemon take with bears driving cars and Judge Reinhold sticking bananas up people butts). The features (which are on both discs) Are nice. It's a cartoon of Clerks on ABC what do you expect? - 3.25 out of 5 (3/1/2001)
The show is decent, but most people not like it because it's not like the movie. First, it's a prime time cartoon. Smith can't do is regular humor but he is still funny. Second, it's what Smith wanted to do so if you don't like it,well, it's your opinion and as Jay says "SNOOOTCH TO THE NOONCH".

Mildly amusing...... - 3 out of 5 (2/28/2001)
I have been a huge fan of Kevin Smith's work but found this cartoon to be nothing like what I am used to from Mr. Smith. Aside from a few cheap laughs (including one of the most hilarious scenes I have ever seen having to do with how terrible japanimation is) the dvd set as a whole was pretty dead. I did see a lot of similarities between this series and the simpsons but is seemed like Clerks was simply trying to copy the witty style but just couldn't pull it off nearly as well.
If y
