Take Me Away...I Don't Mind...But You Better Promise Me We'll Get Back In Time... - 4.75 out of 5 (1/30/2003)
For a while, it looked like DVD owners might have to wait until the year 2015 to get the Back To The Future trilogy on DVD, but its finally made its way to the digital format, and to borrow a tagline from the second of the three films...it's about time!
I almost didn't pick up this three-DVD set after hearing numerous complaints on the net that the framing was messed up on the second and third films. I'll take die-hard fans word for it that there are some framing problems in these f

At last, the long awaited DVD set is released - 4.25 out of 5 (12/17/2002)
When DVD first hit the scene not that many years ago there was immediately a list of most desired titles for the new format. Near the top of almost every list was the Back to the Future trilogy. The original film remains one of the most beloved movies of the eighties and there are many fans for the second and third installment of the saga. We all know the stories, Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) uses a time machine invented by his friend and mentor Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) to travel back in ti

Don't buy this until Universal corrects the 2nd and 3rd films - 3.25 out of 5 (1/2/2003)
This WOULD be a great set... if Universal hadn't screwed up the framing of the 2nd and 3rd films so that portions of the scenes aren't visable. We buy the widescreen versions for a reason, and they found a way to screw it up royally.
There are also reported problems with the French language tracks and the subtitles on various DVD players.
Universal says you have to call them and send your defective discs before they'll send you a replacement, and plan on taking 3 months to correct the di

Excellent... need I say more? - 5 out of 5 (12/31/2002)
At first I hesitated to write this review due to the fact I had assumed everyone in the U.S. has seen this film. My girlfriend just informed me that neither she nor her family has ever seen any of these films so with that being said, here is my review. BTTF Pt. 1 is without a question one of the best films ever made, should I dare say better than Star Wars? The DVD's were well worth the wait. I saw the film five times in the theater when I was seven and this is better than I remember it. The pic

The wait is over...finally. - 4 out of 5 (12/30/2002)
The wait is over indeed. This 3 disc set is one of the best to be released since The Godfather set a couple years ago. The movies themselves{especially the first}, are three of my favorite movies of all time. The audio quality here is really impressive, although the first film's soundtrack is lacking in lows, probably because it is a rather old movie, but the video reproduction of all three films is amazing. The extras loaded 3 disc set is awesome. There are plenty of deleted scenes included as
