Moody tale of a man's search for the cause of brutal attacks - 4.5 out of 5 (10/1/2002)

One of the best movies of the year. - 5 out of 5 (11/22/2002)
I have seen movies that have been a disappointment. Then I see this movie, The Brotherhood of the Wolf, and was amazed. The dialect, the costums and the special effects were by far the best I have seen in a movie this year! The cast was superb and the acting was awesome. I give this movie a 5 because it kept my attention throughout the movie. The Beast was very realistic and, at some parts, totally freaked me out! Very good!!

DVD only! - 4.25 out of 5 (11/14/2002)
In french, so you have to get the DVD for the audio, otherwise you're stuck reading subtitles. A diamond in the rough, for sure. Foreign films usually suck, but this one will blow your mind. Plot, acting, action, and effects are all unmatched by recent films, with a climax that doesn't allow you to breathe for at least 1/2 an hour. The Best of the year.
