The Big Apple's in big trouble, as indestructible psycho-fiend Jason Voorhees hits the road to New York City - and paints the town "red."
After a shocking return from beyond the grave, the diabolical Jason ships out aboard a teen filled "love boat" bound for New York, which he soon transforms into the ultimate voyage of the damned. Then one of his terrified victims escapes into the nightmarish maze of Manhattan's subways and sewers, only to confront Jason one final time.

Friday The 13th, Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan (1989) - 3.5 out of 5 (9/16/2002)
I am indulging one of my brutal cravings and sharing my review of Friday the 13th
Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan with you. Hmmm, didn't I just review The Muppets take Manhattan? Now we know what really happened and who really attacked Miss Piggy! Interesting enough, I am reviewing th

More Jason.. - 3 out of 5 (8/11/2003)
While thats a good thing it can also be a bad thing. This sequel was finally where paramount ended it. It should have ended 4 movies earlier but hey.. They were just after money anyway. Jason is a unstoppable monster once again in this and he is no where being believable anymore. I just consider him to be a zombie after part 4. He was a just a guy who was hard to kill but its obvious now he isnt human anymore.

THE WORST SEQUEL IN THE FILM SERIES - 1.5 out of 5 (11/10/2002)
Well, well, well. I had my breakfast today and went out to get this DVD alongside Friday the 13th Part7 - The New Blood on DVD as well and the results are just way too disappointing.
With all the promotions, the advertising, the tv, teaser and theatrical trailers for this film, this film was sheer evidence that Jason has lost his prime when this film was theatrically released on Friday July 28, 1989. This film was a flop at the boxoffice, was a complete downer for the film series and left the
