Back on Earth, a second prototype has been stolen. Time is of the essence, V.I.P.E.R. was designed to dominate any environment. Mike Conners (Patrick Muldoon) is called in by the government to clean up the mess before thousands, possibly even millions of lives are lost. When evidence points to an inside job, it is up to the Conners and Dr. Burnham to find the culprits and somehow destroy the death machine she's created without a kill switch!
