The basic story is the usual kung-fu, fantasy romance, with a fair dose of super-powered flying and fighting. What sets this apart from other movies in the genre is the very strong central romance, the excellent acting by the two leads, unusual costuming, and very original and artsy direction, lighting, and cinematography.
