This is a v-e-r-y s-l-o-w movie. I even had a hard time watching it entirely . Rather than a storyline, this movie seems like a personal account, or a documentary.

Visually stunning, sounds distant... - 3.5 out of 5 (2/21/2001)
A beautifully shot movie, but I have to say that soundwise it lacks the rage of war that "Saving Private Ryan" pointed out. The atmospheric sounds of the nature and the jungle are nice, but the gun-play and big bangs doesn´t measure up to Ryan. "It´s a different kind of movie, man!" you might say, but, hey, it doesn´t sound like war...
