THE MOST ATYPICAL WESTERN IN MOVIE HISTORY, IS ALSO THE THE FINEST ONE. AND THAT PARADOXY IS WHAT MAKES THIS MOVIE SO INTRIGUING. ON HIS LAST DAY ,AND WEDDING DAY, AS A SHERIFF OF A SMALL AND QUITE TOWN, WILL KANE RECEIVES A TELEGRAM SAYING THAT A CRIMINAL HE PUT IN JAIL SOMETIME AGO, IS COMING BACK TO TOWN (ON THE NOON TRAIN), TO SETTLE THEIR "DIFFERENCES".
