The most frightening thing about Jacob Singer's nightmare isithat he isn't dreaming.
Tim Robbins is Jacob Singer, a man who lives in a nightmare. Wounded in Vietnam, he's now back at home in New York City. Torn between the memories of his son and terrifying wartime demons, Jacob is slowly losing his grip on reality. His beautiful girlfriend (Elizabeth Pena) only adds confusion to his life, drawing him into a web of sexual intrigue; but ultimately, it's his friend Louis (Danny Aiello), who turns out to be the only one Jacob can truly count on.

You thought Sixth Sense deserved repeat viewings? - 4.5 out of 5 (4/1/2001)
Throughout this whole movie I was scratching my head wondering what was real and what was a dream. Until the last 3 minutes the whole film didn't make much sense to me. I STRONGLY urge anyone who likes movies that make you think to pick this disc up. The audio is excellent and of course the video is good too. The features are a step above average thanks to the inclusion of 3 deleted scenes and an audio commentary track. This is one film that won't collect dust sitting in your DVD rack.

The film takes you to a world of nightmares where fear isn't about dying or being cut up by a psychopath but rather the pain of time passing and the possibilities of a different life passing us by. This film makes you think and ten years after seein

This was one of the most disturbing movies I've ever watched, and I absolutely loved it!
I picked this movie up not knowing what to expect. I knew nothing about it, and I didn't know of anyone who had seen it (unfortunate for them). I am so glad I got to go into the film fresh and untainted. My only regret is that I'll never be able to watch it again for the first time (a sentiment expressed by another reviewer).
The movie works on so many levels and is filled with such rich imagery and
