The film equivalent of Chinese Water Torture! - 2.75 out of 5  (1/23/2001)
I suppose I deserve what I got for trying to make sure I watched all of the "Halloween" films in one sitting. "Halloween 3: Season of the Witch" got the reputation quickly for being the worst of the bunch, but that's something of an unfair assessment as it's not a sequel in anything other than name. It's called greed good people! And from the various campfire tales succeeding the film that have been told for eons over many a drunken beers and in which some of those heated debates most surely ended in bar brawls with p   more >>

A nice surprise - 3 out of 5  (2/29/2000)
I've always liked this film for some reason. It's a bit silly and over-acted but makes for good seasonal viewing. I was very surprised to find this forgotten film presented so nicely on DVD. Thank goodness "Good Times" came along and rescued it. The transfer is better than I expected. I've waited 18 years to see ALL of this film again, in it's widescreen glory. The movie was indeed always mono, so the sound isn't a major issue for me. No extras to speak of, but I've seen this disc   more >>
