Dr. Daniel Challis and Ellie Grimbridge stumble onto a series of gruesome murders when her father, who sells Halloween novelties, is killed by an emotionless android assassin. Dan O'Herlihy is Conal Cochran, a demented toymaker who wants to return the holiday to its dark roots using his Silver Shamrock masks. His unspeakable scheme will unleash death and destruction across the country, unless Challis can stop him in time.

The film equivalent of Chinese Water Torture! - 2.75 out of 5 (1/23/2001)
I suppose I deserve what I got for trying to make sure I watched all of the
"Halloween" films in one sitting. "Halloween 3: Season of the Witch" got the
reputation quickly for being the worst of the bunch, but that's something of
an unfair assessment as it's not a sequel in anything other than name.
I suppose if they called it "Invasion of the Body Snatchers 2" instead, it
might have made it a little more palatable, but they didn't and they decided
to instead follow the John Carpenter b

'Season' of the bitchy ex-wife! - 2.25 out of 5 (9/9/2001)
So before I go any further into reviewing this highly rebuked movie, let's touch on the one question that is guaranteed to come about: how can this be called 'Halloween' when our favorite white masked knife wielding buddy doesn't show up for one breath of a second in the film? It's called greed good people! A nice surprise - 3 out of 5 (2/29/2000)
I've always liked this film for some reason. It's a bit silly and over-acted but makes for good seasonal viewing.
I was very surprised to find this forgotten film presented so nicely on DVD. Thank goodness "Good Times" came along and rescued it.
The transfer is better than I expected. I've waited 18 years to see ALL of this film again, in it's widescreen glory.
The movie was indeed always mono, so the sound isn't a major issue for me.
No extras to speak of, but I've seen this disc
