They make their money theiold-fashioned way. They steal it.
Cash. Moolah. Bucks. Dough. Bread. Loot.
It's called by many names but they all mean money, money, money. And this "gang" -- a veteran thief faking a stroke, his very sexy nurse, and her earnest but boring husband -- is going after some. All they have to do is steal an armored truck, impersonate the guards, collect bags of cast at the regular truck pick-up sites, and then show up at work the next morning as if nothing happened! Screen legend Paul Newman (The Color Of Money, The Sting, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid) is back to his cunningly conning ways in this very funny, fast-paced caper film that will have you hoping the bad guys win.

"Where The Money Is" is a clever caper thriller that puts together two pwerhouse actors and matches them wit for wit.
Now, In writing about the movie, I have to reveal a crucial plot point. So consider this a major SPOILER WARNING! and if you don't want to see that point, do not read any further!
Okay, so youre a brave soul and you decided to continue, so I'll stop going on about plot spoilers and discuss the film.

A sexy, smart, and surpisingly funny sleeper - 3.75 out of 5 (1/5/2001)
I think this movie was in and out of theaters in the same afternoon. I remember seeing one commercial for it, thinking it looked promising, and by the time I tried to see it... it was a box office memory. Well it's on DVD now and be sure to find it!
Empire's review tells the story, and the only thing I'll add is that Linda Fiorentino is an exceptional actress and I found it impressive that she olds her own and THEN SOME when dancing with the legendary Mr. Newman. The DVD...
