Clints finest performance I've seen. - 4.25 out of 5 (10/21/2000)
A very strong performance from John M. and Clint. I was impressed by the diversity of Clint's performance. Outside of Unforgiven there haven't been many Eastwood movies where he shows any soft sides. John Malkovich does an excellent job as a the antagonist.

great script, excellent performances from eastwood, and a downright pathological john malkovich. is it just me, or are malkovich and perhaps gary oldman two of the best villains around? unfortunately, oldman has saturated the market and one begins to tire of him. but malkovich gives an inspired performance here. as far as the technical mumbo jumbo, video and audio are reference quality. but how about some features folks? i guess this was released in the early days of dvd, but with the advent of

An Example of "worst" DVD features - 3.75 out of 5 (11/18/1998)
What is the film that should has 1 point in any
category? I think we should have the standard.
We actually give 4-5 point on most review I've
seen.
For this film I can see the example of 1 point in
features should look like.
Plain graphics with only selection of subtitle and
language and chapter that you could do easier on
your remote control
