X marks the spot! - 5 out of 5 (11/14/2000)
The Christmas season has come upon us! And that means that it is time for the Summer blockbusters to start showing up on DVD. We have already had the "Patriot", "Mission Impossible 2" and this week brings us the next two entries in the top five.
"X-Men: Special Edition" is the first of those two and it proves that DVD is becoming better and better as time goes by. The special edition of "X-Men" is truly an event to look forward to. It was one of the best films this summer and it also has the

An okay adaptation. - 4 out of 5 (11/3/2002)
X-Men is a good comic movie, and it resparked an interest in the genre. Though it was good it wasn't nearly as good as it should have been. They left out too many important characters like Colossus, Nightcrawler, and Beast. The film version of Rogue was awful. It was nothing like the comic character to me. But overall it's pretty good.

Children of the Atom - 4.25 out of 5 (8/28/2002)
Based on the popular Marvel comics, X-Men is an exciting and visually dazzling joyride with extraordinary characters and great special effects. The solid and creative storyline and some realistic human tension sets this movie higher than previous campy superhero action films. Hugh Jackman's performance as rugged Wolverine is just one of the movie's highlights.

SOARED ABOVE MY EXPECTATIONS - 4.5 out of 5 (3/2/2002)
I'll be honest w/ you, at first I was a little skeptical about this film. I was afraid that director Singer would not do justice to the X-MEN, but in the end I simply watched his marvelous film THE USUAL SUSPECTS and calmed my fears. That payed of well, because this movie is wonderfully entertaining. Hugh Jackman kicks ass in this film, and Patrick Stewart, Sir Ian, Famke Jannsen, and Halle Berry also give great supporting pewrformances. In the end, this film was well worth the money I spent to
