Empire Review Fumble ready to rumble - 3.25 out of 5  (9/25/2000) In the film "Ready To Rumble", David Arquette plays an total idiot who loves wrestling more than life itself. This is quite a stretch from playing a telephone number huckster who loves 1-800 more than life itself. One gets the feeling halfway through the movie that the only thing David loves more than life itself is David! You have to give the producers some credit for hiring him though! His antics and lousy acting make the wrestlers in the film seem like Shakespearean actors.
