Filmmaker and star Edward Burns follows his acclaimed debut The Brothers McMullen, with this equally fresh, funny and wry romantic comedy about two brothers wrestling their preposterous approaches to life and love.
Mickey (Burns), a free-spirited New York cabbie, and Francis (Mike McGlone), a materialistic Wall Street stockbroker, are extremely competitive and confused about women as a result of their father's (John Mahoney) influence.
Though they disagree about nearly everything, they have one thing in common: Mickey's ex-fiancé Heather (Cameron Diaz) is Francis' secret lover. Though the brothers have beautiful wives (Maxine Bahns and Jennifer Aniston), Heather triggers their longtime sibling rivalry with uproarious and unexpected results.

It's the one - 3.5 out of 5 (7/9/2001)
SHE'S THE ONE is a movie that is loaded with charm. Filmmaker Edward Burns
creates another film affiliated with family feuds and finally finishes the
focus on the Fighting Fitzpatrick's.
Now, if you will excuse the alliteration, I will move forward with a bit
more of a normal discussion of the film. The film focuses on Mickey and
Francis Fitzpatrick. Mickey is played by Ed Burns and he fills the role as a
New York Cabbie with lots of charm and few responsibilities. Francis (Mike

Everyone should see this movie - 3.5 out of 5 (2/4/2003)
I think "She's the One" is inspiringly romantic and funny. Still fresh enough of a director to have a distinct flavor all it's own. A movie I tell everyone about and I haven't seen it for over a year.

A Classy Release by Fox - 5 out of 5 (11/8/2000)
Kudos to Fox for going back and giving this little gem a great DVD treatment. A must have for Ed Burns fans and definitely a title to check out for those who aren't familiar with Burns work. Perfect audio and video transfers on this film. Great special features including a funny and insightful commentary by writer/actor/director Burns, a Burns directed Tom Petty music video of 'Walls', and a behind the scenes featurette. Bottom line, this is a great movie and a great DVD. Everyone should ch
