Alfred Hitchock's landmark masterpiece of the macabre stars Anthony Perkins as the troubled Norman Bates, whose old dark house and adjoining motel are not the place to spend a quiet evening. No one knows that better than Marion Crane (Janet Leigh), the ill-fated traveler whose journey ends in the notorious "shower scene." First a private detective, then Marion's sister (Ver Miles) searches for her, the horror and the suspense mount to a terrifying climax where the mysterious killer is finally revealed.

The first DVD I give all perfect scores to! - 5 out of 5 (7/23/2000)
Psycho is a pure classic.
And Universal took that into serious consideration when making this. Not only do you get the movie in the cleanest sounding, clearest looking black and white you'll ever get with a DVD, the features included are remarkable.
Complete with the original trailer, a 90 minute documentary, the ability to see the shower scene without music, seeing the original storycards... I could go on for days.
If you are a horror, classic, or Hitchcock fan, or even if you aren't,
