Empire Review Looking For A Place To Hideaway! - 3.5 out of 5  (10/10/2000) Hideaway is one of those movies that truly frustrates the viewer, not because the movie is bad, but because it is occasionally very good, but can not reach it's potential due to several sequences of unnecessary special effects and an ending in which the characters whom we have invested the entire film in no longer seem to be in control of the outcome.
