Empire Review Pre-law my ass! - 3 out of 5  (12/7/2000) "The House on Sorority Row" is a decent entry into the college coed slice and dice genre. It's a film with little nudity or little blood, but it does make up for that with some genuine scares and thrills. The film was the first directed by Mark Rosman who cut his film teeth with Brian DePalma. Who better to learn off than the master of suspense (at the time!) The film was also released overseas as "House of Evil" but that version was a chopped up one that was missing the few gore scenes in th   more >> Customer Review A suprise for me - 3.25 out of 5  (5/27/2002) I found this title in the bargin dvd section of my local record store and as I had never heard or seen anything about it plus the fact it had a nice looking young lady on the front I decided to risk my 5 pounds. To be fair the film started slow 7 young girls at uni living in a house together with a strict house mother, after the house mother has a falling out with one girl she and her mates decide to play a prank on her and it all goes wrong leaving the house mother dead.
