Empire Review Back under the sea! - 4.25 out of 5  (9/18/2000) "The Little Mermaid II" is a delightful sequel to the first film. I admit to being surprised because I have sat through some Disney sequels that have been quite pathetic but this one stays true to the original film with attention to the characters that we have grown to know and love.
