Pretty Wonderful - 4.25 out of 5 (12/16/1998)
Pretty Wonderful
PRETTY WOMAN on DVD is different than the movie you saw in the
theatre or on videotape 10 years ago. The DVD version is slickly done
with insightful narration by the director Garry Marshall (brother of
Penny Marshall). Marshall answers the questions about the body
double that has been pondered over for years. I won't spoil for you. I
would rather you see it. The scene in question takes place in the first
10 minutes of the movie when Julia Roberts is waking up.

Great Film - 2.5 out of 5 (6/28/1998)
Gere and Roberts are great together. The modern day Cinderella story is well put together and captivating. The lines are cute but not obnoxious. The editors knew what they were doing as evidenced by what they left on the floor (but put on the DVD as extra footage not seen before).
