How do you stop an assassin who has no identity?
A ruthless assassin has been hired to eliminate someone at the very top of the U.S. government. Constantly changing his identity and location, he is known only as the Jackal. Everything about this hit man, including his sinister timetable, is a secret.
Aware of the Jackal's presence but uncertain of his purpose, the FBI's Deputy Director faces the biggest challenge of his career. In order to track down this cold-blooded killer, he and a by-the-book Russian intelligence officer enlist the aid of an imprisoned Irish terrorist. These unlikely allies enter a global race against the clock to stop the mysterious mercenary before he can complete his deadly assignment.

Bruce Willis Is Good - 3.75 out of 5 (1/4/2002)
I was about a third of the way through THE JACKAL and on my fifth page of
notes when I realized that it really wasn't a very good film.
Now, I know I'm usually not supposed to start a review with a lead like
that because the idea I usually try to get across is that there is good in
every film, and just because I don't like it, doesn't make it a bad film.

5.1 DOLBY DIGITAL SURROND.On t'emmerde espèce de connard de merde parce que tu sais pas lire le francais criss de sans dessin de mes deux. You will like Bruce Willis performance is this movie.
Bruce Willis if you like him when he acts a hero, but you will love him in his evil role.
I saw this movie I could not imagine that Bruce Willis (Die Hard series) would act an evil role.
Great performance also from Richard Gere (Primal Fear).

Two thumbs up for this movie and you would not know what The Jackal next move.

Such a bad film with so many features - 4 out of 5 (4/12/1999)
This movie is very tedious to watch. It has no real impact on the viewer and It is so easy to forget. Anyone who can sit through this entire piece of trash deserves a reward. Utterly predictable and not exciting like it shoud be.
The DVD has exceptional 5.1 audio and a ton of features. Deleated scenes and a documentary are included.
Stay away from this one, good DVD, bad movie!
