Customer Review BIZARRE AND BEAUTIFUL - 4.25 out of 5  (8/14/2000) "The Cement Garden" is one of the finest films released during the 1990s. It is genuinely shocking and full of disturbing scenes and images. This is a real taboo breaking movie. The performances are all excellent, with Charlotte Gainsbourg a real stand out in the fine cast. The video is a bit pale and there is some grain from time to time, but overall the image is quite nice with excellent detail. My only real complaint is the image appears slightly cropped( perhaps from a 1:66 aspect ratio). On   more >>
