Customer Review Without a doubt, the greatest baseball movie ever. - 4.5 out of 5  (2/7/1999) Is the Academy of Motion Pictures prejudiced? I think this movie clearly has you wondering. If this movie had been about men's baseball instead of women's baseball, it probably would have swept the Oscars. If you love baseball and really KNOW the ins and outs of the game (and few people do) you will really appreciate all the qualities this wonderful has to offer.
