Heroes ended its first volume in the season finale with a nuclear bomb-sized bang, and in the same finale, it started Heroes' second volume, "Generations", where we discover that Hiro had time-traveled to feudal Japan and immediately finds himself stuck between a group of samurai and one lone samurai preparing to battle. Cue one solar eclipse, and that, my friends, was the end of the first season of Heroes.
