A Comedy Of Trial And Error
In this must-see comedy hit, two carefree pals traveling through Alabama are mistakenly arrested and charged with murder. Fortunately, one of them has a lawyer friend in the family -- Vincent Gambini (Joe Pesci), a former auto mechanic from Brooklyn who has never been in court -- or in Alabama. Great Movie...but no features - 4.5 out of 5 (6/13/2002)
I love Joe Pesci. He's one of the funniest guys to ever be on the big screen. "Do I amuse you?"
My Cousin Vinny came right after Goodfellas where Joe played a ruthless loudmouthed gangster. this is quite a turn for him. in this movie he plays a would-be lawyer whose out to defend his cousin and his cousin's friend from jailtime in the good ol' south for a crime they didn't do. what's funny is Vinny lacks any sense of formality in court and his confrontations with the judge are hilarious and w

Great classic! I expected extra features. However, I love the movie so much, it doesn't really matter what's on the DVD.

You have to understand that I am from the UK, My favourite films of all time are The Godfather and The Sound of Music, somewhere in between comes "My Cousin Vinny". I thought that was alone with this until a Mr Ernie Wise, means nothing in the US, rated this film as one of his top ten of all time, thats good enough for me,I've watched it so many times on video, I shall watch it to death on DVD. see it, maybe I'm wrong, but I happen to rate this film very highly, and believe me I've seen some c
