It is the 23rd century. The Federation starship U.S.S. Enterprise is on routine training maneuvers, and Admiral James T. Kirk (William Shatner) seems resigned to the fact that this inspection may well be the last space mission of his career. But Khan is back. Aided by his exiled band of genetic supermen, Khan (Ricardo Montalban) -- brilliant renegade of 20th century Earth -- has raided Space Station Regula One, stolen a top secret device called Project Genesis, wrested control of another Federation starship, and now schemes to set a most deadly trap for his old enemy Kirk...with the threat of a universal Armageddon! Co-starring Kirstie Alley (Cheers) in her stunning motion picture debut.

At the End of the Universe, Lies the Beginning of Vengeance. - 3.75 out of 5 (8/11/2000)
If there has been a better science fiction movie in the past 25 years than STAR TREK II: THE WRATH OF KHAN, I want it found and destroyed right now! Whether a big time Trekker (as I proudly admit I am) or a passing observer, it is hard not to be moved by the human drama and emotion of this movie.
To give you an example of the kind of pull this movie has, I'll give you my own sad story. I was twelve years old in the summer of 1982, and my child abusing parents (just kidding Mom and Dad) lef

The best Trek of all time!!! - 3.25 out of 5 (11/30/2000)
The greatest Star Trek film ever!
Of course it would have been nice if Paramount but a few extras on the DVD.
When will they learn?

I will ALWAYS love this movie as #1!! - 3.5 out of 5 (11/6/2000)
I have to agree with alot of people on this one. I absolutely love this movie, I've never seen a better sci-fi flick, storyline, special effects, etc. Terminator 2 was AWESOME, but this one is my fave. I really think they should've pulled a STAR WARS: SPECIAL EDITION though, and added a bunch of stuff to it.
